A Community
Owned Podcast?
As a Rehash listener, you have the opportunity to help select our podcast guests, recommend topics for discussion, and have your voice heard on any major podcast decision.
Each time we release a new podcast episode, you’ll have the opportunity to collect that episode digitally as an NFT. In addition to serving as a memento to show your support for the podcast guest and Rehash, your podcast NFT also grants you power to nominate any guest you want for upcoming seasons of the podcast.
In Season 5, there will be 20 editions of each episode available to collect for 0.005 ETH a piece. These NFTs come with nomination rights. Guests will receive a 1/1 Guest NFT that comes with nomination rights and voting rights.
- Nomination rights: allows the owner of the podcast NFT to nominate guests and submit proposals for podcast activities
- Voting rights: allows the owner of the podcast NFT to vote on guests and other podcast proposals
Anyone who owns a Rehash podcast NFT has nomination rights, but the only way to earn voting rights is to either (1) be a guest on the podcast, or (2) sponsor an upcoming season.
Info on how you can be a guest or sponsor on future seasons of the podcast can be found below.
Nominations take place on-chain, which means you’ll need a crypto wallet and a minimal amount of $MATIC (about $0.10 worth) to submit a nomination. If you need help setting up a wallet or securing MATIC, please message us in our Discord server and we’ll help you get set up!
You can find a list of all of our nominees for Season 5 here and our final lineup of guests here.
Here are a couple of ways you can secure a nomination:
- Ask the community to nominate you by tweeting at @rehashweb3 on Twitter or joining our Discord server
- Secure a Rehash NFT and nominate yourself
The best way to determine whether the topic you would like to speak on is a topic of interest to our community is by listening to our past episodes to get a sense of topics and types of speakers that our community have historically enjoyed listening to.
