Comando Burrito
Israel Betanzos Q, better known as "Comando Burrito", is a One Man Band project in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico. Band from Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico.
Since he was 11 years old he started playing saxophone in symphonic bands and orchestras (2010-2016) and some time later in sonorous, jazz and rock bands in the region (2015-2017). Inspired by the internet music music he grew up with and the new EDM (Electronic Dance Music) waves, in 2019 he decided to study music to study music production in a self-taught way and without realizing it at the same time begins this project which with an unmistakable mix of dubstep, ska, trance, synthcore forgotten from Myspace, eurodance and heavily distorted vocals with auto-tune, with his last 2 albums, Sueño Hidrocefálico (2019) and Generación Encryptada (2020), also counting with mixtapes of insane remixes (REMIXES 2020 and REMIXES 2021).
Comando Burrito has had the pleasure of accompanying Necromorfo as musician and staff on his CriptoRock Tour 2022 (July-August), as well as producing "2020", single for Stinky Gaming, and "Luisa", remix for Goeighta. As his career has progressed, he has also organized and produced a variety of virtual festivals (Necropalooza 2020 and 2021, Break My Heart As I Brake This Drum and Rave The Earth).
Comando Burrito released an EP ("this has nothing to do with CORRIDOS MIXEADOS" better known as "Not Corridos Mixeados") with 8 songs in which an evident evolution in the artist's aesthetic and sound is demonstrated, as well as a symbolic bridge prior to his next and final album. The artist has been featured in press releases such as: El Mañana de Reynosa, Melemoeuhane, among others.
